What a beautiful tribute to Carolyn. She was one of the most wonderful friends that I have ever had, and I treasure the times I was able to spend with her. She will never be forgotten. My heart goes out to all her family.

Larry, Melissa, Matt and Ricky: Sue was so special to me, maybe because we shared so many of the same traits from the family gene pool, although probably the more ornery traits! You guys are in my thoughts and prayers. She is sorely missed.

Melissa and family, I wanted you all to know that I am thinking of you during this time. Loss is never easy and I hope in the coming days, weeks and months that you can find God's peace and know that she is in a better place. I am sending you good thoughts and strength during this time. Tonya

Uncle Larry, Melissa and Matt our thoughts and prayers are with you. I will forever cherish all the wonderful memories I have of Aunt Sue. From the Barbie wedding dresses she made for me that my own daughter has played with to the day of my own wedding when she came to the rescue of the fallen hem of my dress and pinned it up with pins she got from the florist. She was always there for me and I will miss her greatly. We love you Aunt Sue.

I was not fortunate to know Carolyn very well. But, I am proud to call her son Matt one of my best friends ever. I know that she will always be proud of the children that she has raised. Matt, and Melissa are two of the best people that I know. My heart goes out to Larry, Matt, Melissa and their family.

Carolyn was a strong willed caring person who touched my heart, she gave an enormous fight, and fought till the end. She touched all of the employees hearts that cared for her. She will be missed by all, and as special as she was she will be sorely missed! I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to Larry and the family. Sara

My fondest memory of Carolyn was how back in high school when Matt and I were going to hangout on weekends, she would always tell us to "not do anything stupid" before we left to go create mischief around Southern Boone County, even though secretly she knew there was no way we would be able to avoid engaging in shenanigans. Also at family get togethers she was always one of the first ones to come and greet you, always with a smile.

I have many fond memories of my mother Carolyn. But what I will always remember is that no matter what I have done in my life good or bad, She took the time to talk to me like an adult and never made me question how much she loved me.
I love you Mom.
